Graduate student survivors deserve safety, justice, and community—without risking their education, reputation, or future.
As we continue to raise awareness during #SAAM2025, let’s name who’s been missing from the narrative. Let’s make space for the complex realities of graduate-level survivors.
🎓🧠 Survivorship doesn’t end with a degree—it deserves visibility at every level.

This #SexualAssaultAwarenessMonth, let’s move beyond awareness—into action, accountability, and real support. Whether you’re a survivor, ally, advocate, or just learning—your voice matters.
Together, we can break the silence, shift the culture, and build a future rooted in healing and justice.

On Transgender Day of Visibility, we honor the resilience, brilliance, and truth of trans communities—especially our trans student survivors who are too often erased from conversations around justice and healing.
In a time when legislation, violence, and systemic neglect aim to make transgender people invisible, EROC stands firm in our commitment to see, uplift, and protect. Visibility is not just about being seen—it’s about being valued, supported, and safe.
Our #CenteringTheMargins framework demands that we fight for those pushed furthest to the edge. When we uplift trans voices, we are fighting for a future where all survivors are believed, affirmed, and free.

📣📣ICYMI: Yesterday, Trump signed an executive order to dismantle the Department of Education. This is a direct attack on student safety and civil rights. By gutting this agency, the government is stripping protections from survivors, marginalized students, and all who rely on federal enforcement of Title IX.
We refuse to go backward.
Education must be free from violence and discrimination—history will not look kindly on those who allow these protections to be erased.

🗣️A special reminder from EROC’s CEO @herstoryk!
Tomorrow, Feb 13th, is our National Call-In Day, and we need YOU to step up and take action. Join us and our partners at Know Your IX (@knowyour9), Sexual Violence Prevention Association (@svpaofficial), and Advocates for Trans Equality (@transequalitynow) as we come together to tell the Senate HELP Committee to vote NO on Linda McMahon’s nomination for Secretary of Education.
Here’s why this matters: The U.S. Department of Education is a civil rights agency. The person leading it should actually care about students, survivors, and our right to a safe education—not corporate interests or perpetrators of sexual violence.
📞 Calling takes less than 2 minutes, and it makes a BIG difference. We’ve made it super easy—just use our Call-In Guide (see link 🔗 in bio) and follow the script. That’s it!
While we’re making calls, some of our partners will be at Linda McMahon’s confirmation hearing. We want everyone to stay safe—not just because of the bad weather, but also because this nomination is bringing up a lot of tension.
This isn’t just about one person—this is about ALL of us. By speaking out, we’re fighting for every student and survivor to have a violence-free education. This is bigger than just you and me, and it’s bigger than politics. Everyone deserves to feel safe at school.
Let’s make sure the Senate hears us loud and clear—students and survivors deserve better. Call tomorrow and be part of the change!

🚨 URGENT: Linda McMahon’s Nomination Hearing is Set for February 13 🚨
Time is running out. On February 13 at 10 AM ET, the Senate HELP Committee will hold a hearing on Linda McMahon’s nomination for Secretary of Education—and we must make it clear: students and survivors deserve better.
McMahon has no experience in education policy, a record of opposing LGBTQ+ rights and DEI efforts, and troubling allegations of covering up misconduct. If confirmed, she could roll back critical protections for student survivors and marginalized communities.
💥 Here’s How You Can Take Action NOW:
