Action 9: Tell Your Texans to Oppose SB 576

End Rape On Campus

The Texas House of Representatives is gearing up to vote on Texas Senate Bill 576. This dangerous bill would require student leaders and employees to report sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence or stalking to their colleges, or else face suspension, expulsion, or in the case of an employee, be charged with a misdemeanor criminal offense.

This bill passed with near unanimous support in the Texas Senate. Clearly, the legislature is not informed about why this bill would be such a disaster for survivors, and they need to hear from you.

This bill will be heard in the Texas House of Representatives in a matter of days, and we need your help. Join our Rapid Response Texas Team to get started.
