End Rape on Campus (EROC) is a survivor advocacy organization dedicated to ending sexual violence through survivor support, public education, and policy and legislative reform.

We provide free, direct assistance to all survivors of gender-based and sexual violence on campus interested in filing federal complaints, organizing for change, or drawing public attention to hold their schools accountable.

We have assisted hundreds of students at dozens of schools file Title IXClery Act, and other civil rights complaints to seek justice and reform.

Design Summer Fellow

End Rape on Campus (EROC) is seeking a Design Summer Fellow for a position in our Washington, DC office. This individual must have a strong commitment to ending gender-based violence, with experience in graphic design and video editing.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and producing graphic design projects for digital and print

  • Taking and editing photo

  • Recording and editing video

  • Basic website editing and email formatting

  • Other responsibilities as needed

And the ideal candidate:

  • Is creative, dependable, and efficient

  • Is thorough and detail-oriented

  • Has high proficiency in adobe creative suite (photoshop, indesign, twitter)

  • Has proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, iMovie, etc)

  • Has proficiency in web design/coding languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript)

  • Has a keen understanding that papyrus and lobster are the new comic sans

  • Has an interest and/or background in sexual violence prevention/response

Survivor Resource Development Summer Fellow

End Rape on Campus (EROC) is seeking a Survivor Resource Development Summer Fellow for a position in either our New York City, Washington, DC, or Los Angeles, CA office. This individual must have a strong commitment to ending gender-based violence, with experience and understanding of the unique resource needs of marginalized student survivors.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Researching areas of the United States with a lack of LGBTQ+ survivor, immigrant and/or undocumented survivors, and survivors of color-specific resources, and then identifying possible remedies or resource options

  • Reaching out to and cultivating relationships with local service providers that offer LGBTQ+ specific services, as well as practice cultural competency regarding survivors of color or other marginalized populations

  • Preparing information regarding the rights of marginalized students on college campuses

  • Identifying local service providers with little information of the rights of LGBTQ+ survivors, immigrant and/or undocumented survivors, and survivors of color on college campuses and provide them with resources and additional information that may be beneficial to their clients

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Has 2+ years of research experience (college experience is fine!)

  • Can dedicate around twenty hours per week to this project

  • Has experience organizing large amounts of information

  • Is personable on the phone and is able to communicate well with service providers around the country

  • Is detail-oriented and responsible

  • Is aware of and embraces the intersectional nature of sexual violence globally

  • Has some experience working in the LGBTQ+ community, including LGBTQ+ people of color (preference if you’ve worked with LGBTQ+ and people of color survivors)

  • Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred but not required

Policy Research Summer Fellow

End Rape on Campus (EROC) is seeking a Policy Research Summer Fellow for a position in either our New York City or Washington, D.C. office. This individual must have a strong commitment to ending gender-based violence, have excellent writing skills, and  experience in researching and analyzing public policy, preferably on the state level.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Researching state level legislative progress regarding campus sexual violence
  • Assisting our Director of Education with drafting policy memos and outward-facing materials that communicate the key points of the law in accessible ways  

  • Drafting EROC policy recommendations for specific states and schools

  • Cultivating strong relationships with policymakers

  • Commenting on record to the press about issues related to campus sexual violence and our advocacy in favor or against certain bills

  • Assist the Director of Education with strategizing and implementing action-based online campaigns

  • Assist with updating and editing in-person presentations for the EROC team

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Has 3+ years of research experience (college experience is fine!)

  • Can dedicate around twenty hours per week

  • Is an excellent writer with strong communication skills

  • The ideal candidate is familiar with campus sexual violence, and has direct experience in advocating on this issue

  • Has experience working with journalists or members of the media

  • Has experience organizing large amounts of information

  • Is personable on the phone and is able to communicate well over email

  • Is detail-oriented and responsible

  • Has some experience working with state policies and policy analysis generally

There is a stipend available for the Policy Research Summer Fellow. While a summer fellowship, EROC has a strong interest in candidates who are also interested in longer-term opportunities with us.

On-Campus Data Collection Summer Fellow

End Rape on Campus (EROC) is seeking an On-Campus Data Collection Summer Fellow for a position in either our New York City or Washington, DC office. This individual must have a strong commitment to ending gender-based violence, with experience researching and analyzing on-campus sexual assault policies.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and analyzing on-campus sexual assault policies

  • Comparing campus policies to our best practices

  • Summarizing on campus policies and distilling significant amounts of information into easily read summaries

  • Managing a crowd-sourcing program and ensuring the accuracy of submitted information

  • Editing crowd-sourced submissions  

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Excellent reading comprehension skills

  • 3+ years of research experience (college experience is fine!)

  • Can dedicate around twenty hours per week to this project

  • Has experience organizing large amounts of information

  • Is detail oriented and responsible

  • Has experience analyzing on campus sexual assault policies
