End Rape on Campus (EROC) is a survivor advocacy organization dedicated to ending sexual violence through survivor support, public education, and policy and legislative reform.

We provide free, direct assistance to all survivors of gender-based and sexual violence on campus interested in filing federal complaints, organizing for change, or drawing public attention to hold their schools accountable.

We have assisted hundreds of students at dozens of schools file Title IXClery Act, and other civil rights complaints to seek justice and reform.

Communications Fellow

Join Our Team - Communications Fellow

End Rape on Campus (EROC) is seeking a Communications Fellow for a position in Washington, DC. This position requires excellent written and visual communication. The Communications Fellow will report to the Director of Media and Strategic Communications.

Responsibilities will include:

  • writing and scheduling social media posts
  • using Adobe Creative Cloud to design graphics, reports, and edit audio/visual content
  • writing and edit blog posts
  • assisting with administrative duties
  • assisting with development of communications and fundraising strategy
  • editing the website and online media
  • other duties as requested by the Director of Media & Strategic Communications

The ideal candidate for the Communications Fellow will:

  • be able to work out of an office in Washington, DC twice a week
  • commit to working 15 - 20 hours per week (in the office, and elsewhere)
  • demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (other Creative Cloud programs are a plus)
  • demonstrate proficiency in video editing
  • proficiency in HTML, CSS, and/or Java
  • be detail oriented, organized, and efficient
  • demonstrate understanding and passion for ending sexual violence

The Communications fellow will receive a stipend and will ideally begin sometime in October.  Please submit a cover letter, resume, written communications samples, and a portfolio/design samples as attachments to with “Communications Fellow” in the subject line. You must be able to work in-person in Washington, DC.
